One excellent purpose for adding extra info to your tracks is to generate Wise Playlists. But getting extra tags also permits you additional possibilities for viewing and sorting songs in the I-tunes Song Record.
By default, the Song Checklist doesn't include columns for most of the various data categories. But you can combine and remove columns at any time using the Check out Alternatives box, which can be summoned from the Edit menu or with the shortcut Apple J (Mac) or Ctrl J (Computer). Alternatively, attempt Ctrl clicking (Mac) or right-clicking (Pc) the header of any of the columns in the Song Checklist to reveal a dropdown menu of columns.
